What do you
get when you combine the scenic beauty of Round Lake and Charlevoix with unique
mediums of fine art and crafts? The answer is three different summer art shows displayed
in downtown Charlevoix’s East Park.
Even
those who are not connoisseurs of art will find enjoyment in browsing
paintings, photography, pottery, jewelry, textiles and much more. Whether
you’re looking for that perfect painting to hang above the mantel, a gift for
your great aunt Bertha, or if you just need an activity for your weekend visit
you won’t want to miss out on these spectacular art shows!
Each show
offers something for everyone with a variety of artists and artisans from all
over the globe. After perusing the booths of each artist, take a stroll down the
sidewalks overlooking the docks of the City Marina in the turquoise waters of
Round Lake. Then end the day with a splash at the interactive water fountain,
heated and open for kids to play every day from 10am until 9pm. From 9:30 until
11pm enjoy the fountain’s display mode with music and light shows that take
place on the half hour.
